Author | Topic: Do we have others that know how to decifer dreams? |

![]() ![]() ![]() That could very well be. I don't know when I'm projecting myself and maybe I was doing that at the time. I did have a serious crush on him that later on turned to be several years of heartache. I still like the guy, but know that nothing is to come of it. Thinking about it, you are right. I do project myself while I sleep at times and maybe that's just what I was doing. Who knows what my spirit wanted to do while I'm sleeping. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() When one dies in the dream, it generally means death of an old personality and birth to another. But if you are really feeling death in you, watch out. Most people who have seen themselves actually die, don't ever wake up. I've heard many situations about that. That's why when you have a falling dream, you wake up with a jump. You aren't suppose to see your demise. [This message has been edited by lostfairytales (edited 01-07-2001).] IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Maybe that is so, but do you actually see you fall to the ground. No! Your demise would be hitting that ground and death would surely come or something not as drastic as death, but a pained life afterward. That much I know. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Lostfairytales, despite what some people may believe, the astral plane does not exist. If it does, those people can come argue with me about it in my dreams tonight. Both of your dreams are wish fulfillment, followed by a dose of reality, delivered by your subconscious. In both dreams, you pursue a man who you know you can not have in real life. In the earlier dream, the man is a celebrity (in real life). In the more recent dream, the man is dead (in real life). And while your brain spins a little fantasy that the two of you are together for a short time, you also know that there is no way there is going to be a "love connection", which is why both of your dream lovers basically tell you "you're wasting your time, go after somebody else." So that's what both those dreams mean. "You're wasting your time, go after somebody else." Your pal, IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() This is not a dream analysis rather its my philosophy for life - head in the clouds, feet on the ground. Don't spend too much time worrying about your dreams - your subconscious works out the brain's kinks through dreams. I say just enjoy them, write them down (you never know what kind of story may come of your dreams) and ignore the nightmares. Most of us have these wish fulfillment dreams or dreams of freedom from our many responsibilities. I think we are just too busy, too harried, too hard on ourselves. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Funny, you should say that. I'm currently working on another screenplay that is a dream that I had one night. It is just more dramatic that it really was in the dream. I have been writing my dreams into my scripts ever since I started doing scripts. My dreams are often colorful and so it always seems good to put them into a screenplay. I think maybe some people will enjoy some of my dreams I had. I do have a little secret to say about the guy of the first dream I discussed. The first guy was a celebrity on the rise, but killed accidentally. So, yes, I have a celebrity in my dream that I seem to be in-love with. Then the other guy is a real guy that isn't dead. He's alive in a small town by the name of Amite in Louisiana. I just had a very bad crush on that guy for the longest. He told me in the dream that he does like me just not in the way I want him to and that he's searchig for something that I've already found. I found my true purpose in life when I was that age. I knew exactly where I was headed. I was already headed for Hollywood where my talents will be magnified. Couchguy, you're amazing. Did you ever think about how many times you are correct? Man, so correct about things. You good at this dream thing. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() My stories come from mainly a tragedy of one I loved so dear. That's my first script. Well, it has maybe two or three of my dreams which really in real life he was in. Call him a celebrity or what, my Jeff Lenz was one in my heart. My next script is one that of a haunted house that I lived in and that has most truths in, as well. It is about a ghost that terrorizes a girl to make her seem mad. The script I've been working on since before my first script is about two Russian that are in-love so much that even Stalin couldn't keep them apart. Somehow I sense that it is a true story, but don't know whose story it is. The script I'm working on now is one that comes straight from my dream. It is a dark story of murder, romance, and understanding the meaning of life and death. It is truely amazing how I just come up with stories from the thin air. What is even more amazing how I have my writing back. It took me nearly two years to get it back and I hope to never lose it again to "writer's block". It just isn't write for anyone to get such a thing. It is horrible. Most of my ideas came at that time. You see, my mind never sleeps and even with writer's block, ideas would float into my head. That's when frustration would settle in because all they were is ideas that I couldn't anything with at that time. Thanks, psichick, about saying that I'm divinely suppose to write. What makes you say that though? IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() I think many women dream about celebrities in a romantic way because they represent an ideal in terms of looks, money, etc. Also, movies portray love as a romantic fantasy, not the way it normally really is to be in a marriage/relationship. The fact of the matter is that men are not really like that and if we are excruciatingly honest, neither are women - but that doesn't mean it isn't a lot of fun to wish and dream. If you dream about Ben Affleck as your ideal that's fine as long as you can separate the dream from the reality. In the movies Ben is a pretty romantic lead, I just adore him. In reality Ben is big kid from Boston who has not managed to keep a steady relationship going yet. My mom told me once that men who make really great friends don't always make the best husbands and for now I would say Matt and Ben are probably really great friends. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Thank you for believing. Most people laugh at my ideas because they aren't the tradition ideas. It is so new to them that it just looks to much ahead of its time if you know what I mean. Thanks again. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() i had a dream once (this is not a lie, becuz i seemed quite lucid) where i was inside of a dream X3. I woke up and at once thought i was awake, soon after several bizarre things happend, i woke out of that dream and thought i was awake, again other strange things occurred and finally i woke up in real life. Now becuz i was actually aware of WAKING up each time, the last time i woke up i thought for sure i was still dreaming. To answer some other questions from the last page- i remember once flying in a plane that i noticed had turned from green to purple, so i'm pretty sure i dream in colors for the most part. and sometimes i can feel pain if something hurts me but even when i get shot or stabbed i generally do not expereince pain. Other sensations? You mean like Sex? and eating and stuff? yeah, i remember getting stoned on pot and getting drunk from alcohol once or twice but not often- IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() The dream I had is strange. I remember that several family decided to stay at this old building. I met someone that I felt close with from the first time I saw and talked to him. He felt the same about me. We decided to talk a long ride. I believe I was in Louisiana riding because I remember the bayous. We rode for 40 miles one way. We stopped near this guy's relatives house. His aunt caught us kissing each other. We had to come up with a lie. I said that we were praticing for a play. Well, from that time forward I felt lonely without him. Then just before the play in the dream, my oldest brother decided to beat up his new baby girl. My other brother came in and a fight began between the two of them. The bad thing about this is, my oldest brother didn't see anything wrong with what he was doing. I got so enraged that I started hitting him with anything and everything I could get my hands on. I finally knocked him out with a pop on the head with a frying pan. Well, we didn't do the play because of my brother which was fine with me because I had nothing planned. I finally thought we'd get close, but another incident occurred and this time it was he that was called. This guy met a maiden and they loved each other and got married the same of this whole thing going on. They both virgins and knew nothing about sleeping together. So my guy gave the other guy some pointers. I saw no sex and he didn't either. In fact, no one in my dream saw those two sleeping with each other. Tell me what you think this dream means.
