Kit,

Do you have any idea if these will be national/touring events like brands such as Camel and Johnnie Walker Red hold at clubs and bars? We get a lot of those here in Austin. Sounds like a great idea.

You seem to be plugging Sam Adams a lot, Kit.

Is that part of the "marketing initiative"?

Because if you really believe that Sam Adams is a great tasting beer, any respect that I have for you as a person will get tossed out the window.

I am still in college, and only appreciate beer that comes in a 40 oz. container.

Just as Charles Dickens wrote about the shenanigans of members of the lower classes, I interact with elements of American ghetto culture.

So excuse me when I feel the urge to pop a cap in the ass of the first Sam Adams loving cracker I come across.

You don't know how to appreciate beer in college...you guzzle it. When you get older you learn to "appreciate" beer...brews like Sam, Guiness, Killian's and lots of others.
College beer is swill.
And I hope you're kidding about that "cracker" comment.

Beer is an inferior good that is not meant to be appreciated.

At least not in this country... if you want to be a beer connoisseur, move to Belgium.

And besides, I don't get any more utility out of a $20 case of Sam Adams than I do out of a $7 case of Carling Black Label.

Sam Adams is populist pisswater pretending that it belongs to the pantheon of delectable microbrewed beers.

Call me a stick in the mud, but I'd rather drink St. Ides than Sam Adams.

Costs less, and it doesn't try to be something it isn't.

Uh, how does a beer pretend to be anything but beer? People decide what's good and what isn't, and I'm relatively sure that Natural Light isn't going to beat Guiness in a blind taste test.
Kids nowadays.
"populist pisswater pretending that it belongs to the pantheon" Nice alliteration, though.

Face it, there's no bad beer. Some brands may be more tastee than others, but beer is beer, and on a bad day, that's what counts.

White Russian, anyone???

OHH right- we're talking about Sammy. I gotta agree with Mongy (maybe coz' we're both in college?) SA definitely fits in the 'pisswater' category in the back of the future shelves.
Anyone got a duster?

And Dh- puh-lease! You had to stick an overused cliche in there, didn't you? "When you get older...." Bla bla bla bla bla. How's my alliteration, consonance and my assonance?

Luvs ya,

And with that, I grab a Full Sail, lower the Anchor Steam, and boat away from the Frothy dock.

I'll volunteer to be a part of the Sam Adams marketing initiative. If you need footage of a PGler drinking free beer at a party just let me know!

I get laid with hot, Beverly Hills chicks when I drink Sam Adams.

I get laid with trailer trash crack whores when I drink any other domestic beer.
