Anytime after dark mid-latitude and up, watch for the aurora borealis (not to be confused with David Boreanaz - ).

by any chance did someone see David Letterman last night? There was an astronomer on and I didn't catch his name...he was funny, personable, and good at answering questions. Who was he?
