Hey everyone,

I sent my check to Natalie today - she gave us her address on a private message. I am going to email her right now to see if she feels comfortable giving it out over here.

My feeling is this: we send a check (mine is for 20 - send whatever you can send) to Natalie, who will collect them all, and then buy some things for the children, and then use the rest of the money to send directly to the family. I think some toys and things are great, but as the mother of two children, I know that money is the most needed.

For those who have no money but do have some hand-me-downs or something, maybe talk to Natalie directly and work out a way to send your stuff to her.

What does everyone think? Anyway, my check is in the mail - here's to Spie and her recovery.

I'd suggest taking that first check and opening a Post Office Box -- or, even better, if this effort is really going to take off, opening a savings account in trust for Spie. I am NOT casting aspersions here, so please don't anyone get their panties in a bunch (hey, by the way, where the hell has Scott668 been?!) ... but I worked in charities for a lot of years and Andromeda would be opening herself up to potential future problems if she runs this money through her own bank account -- future problems on various fronts.

It *should* be easy to do this, like a no brainer, I know, but it isn't.

So, I'm in for $20.00 bucks, if I can get an address -- but I sincerely and truly recommend opening an account in Spie's name or, even better, considering her condition, her children's name, and then posting that information at PGL.

I'm bumping - I have never done this before because I don't post very often but let's keep this towards the top. Good idea Mrs. Steele about the bank account!

I have emailed Natalie and she should be posting later today with what she would like to do as far as her address.

Thanks everyone

Lauren
