Do you see yourself on this list anywhere? -

1) Withdrawal, communication breakdown
2) Ungrateful attitude
3) Stubborn, sulky attitude
4) Openly rebellious
5) Bad company-Needs other rebels for encouragement
6) Heartily defends wrong actions
7) Points finger to condemn others
8) Mood extremes
9) Damage someone

We've all been HURT, but the "trick" is to not let it go further and this is done by forgivness. Foriving the other person is the only way out of this downward spiral (#9 is the most extreme and the end of the spiral).

Here's to forgiveness.

Yeah, I see myself there... so? So what's your damn point? Huh? What's your problem? Oh, I'm sooo sorry I shouldn't have said that. Really, truly, sorry. Wait... I'm not sorry! It's all your fault that I'm so miserable anyway *pointing finger at Rob* all your fault, NOT MINE. So I tapped into my company's network and sent everyone's salary on an email to the whole company.... SO? What I did was justified... J-U-S-T-I-F-I-E-D! Me and Hank thought it would be a good idea. Hank's a rebel and so am I! So I just got a big raise, so freakin' what? Thanks for nothing!

Wait, I shouldn't have said all that. I am so sorry. I didn't mean it.... can you finds it in your heart to forgive me?

Ilise, yes, EVERYONE goes through this (or 99% of us, I believe). But, encouraging them to move out of that place into a forgiving state is where this is useful.
