On aintitcool.com, there was a story about that movie A.I. that Spielberg is doing. On the second trailor for the film, there is a credit for "Sentient Being Therapist: Janine Sahalla," Somebody did a search for that name and found a website for the University she works at, in the year 2164! This leads to a phone number, which is her voice mail. She asks if this regarding Evan Chan, press 2. I press 2 and it leads to a message saying that there is no way Evan could have died on a boating accident. This whole thing is an elaborate way of hyping the film, and it's pretty damn cool. There's a link to her personal home page, where it goes more in depth into her relationship with Chan, which leads to a coroners webpage discussing the autopsy results on Evan Chan, revealing that this was no accident. It got REALLY weird when after five minutes on that page, a pop up screen came covered my screen. It had a green grid like pattern that had three very cryptic messages, that then dissolved into a picture of Evan Chan's Corpse! THis is pretty creepy shit for Spielberg. Also, on the trailor where it says "Summer 2001" there are small dashes in each of the letters/numbers, that make up a phone number. WHen you call it it's a woman's voice saying "Welcome, my child. I am going to tell you a story..." It goes on to talk about a wonderful forest filled with trees and grass and databanks and tall apartment buildings filled with water and fish(WTF!?!??). The woman (Mother?) than said if I ever felt confused I could write her at thevisionary.net, and she would leave me a trail of crumbs. Go there, and see what happens. IP: Logged |

I checked it out - it's really cool. They do it as if it's completely authentic, there's no hint at all that it has anything to do with a film. It's so creative. I would LOVE to do work like this. I want a (writing) job goddamnit. IP: Logged |

Okay that thing's just creepy... I went to that Web site and it took forever to open... actually... all I ever got was a blank screen... but it OPENED my OUTLOOK EXPRESS... how did it do that? And then there was some weirdo message thingy? How did it manage to open my OUTLOOK EXPRESS? What the hell? That's just creepy... I dunno about that thing... Your sound wasn't on. If it was you would have heard a woman's voice say: "There was once a rude and wicked child, who came to visit, WHEN HE WAS TOLD TO WRITE!!!" IP: Logged |

It's getting even weirder. That message that was put up on your Outlook, that's from YOU. Adress it to mother@thevisionary.net and e-mail it. About a day later you'll receive an e-mail from mother telling about a boy who loved the ocean. If you highlight the text, you'll get a hidden message from her. There's also a website for an Anti-A.I. militia (!) and you can join their mailing list and leave my phone number. I left my cell phone number and a few hours later I got a call that was an automated message from a robotic like voice saying "We know where you stand, you've made your intentions clear. When the revolution comes, you'll be dealt with accordingly." I'm letting my phone go to the machine now. IP: Logged |
