Yeah it's pathetic, but as I've already hocked my Top 30 DVD player, I figure my dignity took a holiday some time ago.

Sorry Pete. The only contacting I've gotten is from the fine folks at Bank of America about a bounced check to Kinkos.

Anyhow, I'm a good PA, for whatever that's worth. Sometimes, if you take pride in doing the small things well, some of the big ones will work themselves out. Or maybe I should just lay off the fortune cookies.

Thanks for the support. And, the California Dept. of Unemployment thanks you too.

Actually, come to think of it Pete, if you DON'T hire me, will you at least say you interviewed me? I need to put something on this unemployment form.

Thanks Pete. And if you could say you were STRONGLY considering me, like we had TWO interviews over a two week period, then I could use a little of this lie for next week. That's the key to a good falsehood, you wanna stretch it out and get the most out of it.

The trifecta gets you caught dude. Three interviews and you DIDN'T get the job? Somehow I don't think so.

Toq, I sell toys and games for young children (3-7) online at www.unitedtoyfair.com, we are currently looking for someone to process orders and respond to customers enquiries. The pay is between $7-$10 an hour and the questions mostly consist of something like this...

"Hello, my son Michael is 5 years old and I wanted to buy him The Great Cherry Caper board game but I noticed the cherries are very tiny, do you think it's possible for a 4 year old to think the cherries are real and try to eat them and maybe choke? He's a little bit slow, he got left behind in preschool for replacing the balogna in his sandwhich with crayons, will this game be a threat to his well-being?"

If you respond to this question correctly I will really consider hiring you.

Thank you and good day

-Andy

Dear Ma'am,

You son sounds both precocious and special. However the scamp sound like he COULD get himself into trouble with small parts...or big parts...or things with corners.

May I suggest out GIANT stuffed Cherry animal. IT's plush, completely safe and probably too large to fit into his mouth.

Good luck. And you may want to consider stocking up on children's pepto bismol.

Pete,

Not to put any pressure on you or anything, but my unemployment form just got here and I wanna send it back. Can you e-mail me some general address for Miramax where we could have supposedly DONE this interview? Thanks.

Okay, here's what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna PUT your name down on my unemployment form and put down the Miramax address here in LA where I picked up my party tickets as the place I interviewed.

If you don't post "NO Toq. Don't do it" in the next, let's say 1/2 hour, I'll assume that's okay with you. Good? Great. Thanks Pete. You're a bud.
