Its sort of like an e-journal. by the way PEOPLE(I dont have to point fingers) keep all of that other petty crap on the other threads. this thread is for pete to let us know how everything is going with production of his movie. Pete Jones Member	posted 04-15-2001 07:51 AM Quetee, You're always the first to start these threads. I am leaving Monday for Chicago to start the official preproduction period. Official means I will start getting paid for this part. Yeah! I hope to use locations on the south side of Chicago. I will be spending a lot of time looking for the right spots. The cast is looking great. I can't really comment on the adult actors yet because though some have agreed to do it, nobody has actually finished the terms of their deal. Most importantly, I think I found child actors for Pete and Danny. This has been the most difficult. I saw 400 kids at an open call in Chicago a week ago and didn't find one Pete or Danny. I'm asking a lot from the actor who plays Pete and because of labor laws I need him to be at least 9. I think this kid will do it. The kid (a Culkin) in "You Can Count On Me" was really good, and you know what? The kid in your PGL top 10 clip did a great job too. I'm sure it will all work out for you. Good luck with everything. If there are opportunities for crew or stand-ins, I would be grateful for the info. ps: I'm a nurse; it would be great to have the one-liner of the "nurse", but I have to let you know it usually is not a nurse who greets and directs visitors(not in the lobby at least). I'd love to figure out where he's living so I could visit with him when I get back to chicago on april 23rd. Your son was darling.
