TechSupport | Any weird (you still have to rate the 'X') in the review forms should be fixed. If you continue to have rpoblems with these, post it here. If you get weird ODBC errors or something to the like, post it here as well. --TS |
couchchronicles | I am supposed to fill out a personal review form, but when I click on it, it gives me somebody else's play. I need to do my own before time runs out. Please help. |
debwand | Me again. I am asking and keep on asking hoping I get to a field where one of you Tech Support workers comes upon my dire request. Please help me. My personal review page disappeared after some http on the web page error and now a N/A title and review status screenplay evaluation form pops up. Do I re-upload and then should I have anything special going on when I do personal review... isit about AOL? THANKS |
debwand | Gee I hope I don't have to bother you anymore. I guess it's the lack of sleep, my patience is gone... I went back and found I've been assigned a script to review so I guess Personal Review went through. If not let me know - otherwise please ignore all my desperate pleas. AND THANK YOU |
writer3 | How can I be sure my reviews have been received? I have submitted three, and each time I got the white screen that said "Parameter Error" after I clicked on "finish". My "page" shows I have been credited with three reviews but I would like to be sure. I will NOT do these reviews all over again. quote: Originally posted by TechSupport: Any weird (you still have to rate the 'X') in the review forms should be fixed. maluko | I've completed the 3 reviews and I had the script search engine appear once, but I haven't seen it since. Can you bring it back? quote: Originally posted by TechSupport: Any weird (you still have to rate the 'X') in the review forms should be fixed. StYrO | I just reviewed a script and got to the last page when the thing went all out of whack and now the review form is coming up black with only the typwriter pic on the top. |
Fried Rice | hi Writer 3, i got the same notice myself today after finishing my first review. my home page also records a completed review. after i closed the error message, i got notice that said to use the script search engine to locate the script and redo the review. but contestants can not access the search engine before doing all 3 reviews, which is my situation. what i want to know, writer 3, is can you locate your review by screenplay? can anybody at tech support provide some advice for this situation? thanks. quote: Originally posted by writer3: How can I be sure my reviews have been received? Enigmagirl | I also received the "parameter error" message, but no notice stating I had to resubmit the review. My status page also shows that the review registered...should I be worried with the fact that my review brought up a "parameter error", or is this nothing to be concerned with? |
sueb2b | I also get the parameter error, but the reviews seem to be counted. Also, when I select "review", I have to log into the review window each time. The "you need to fill out your personal review form" and ODBC error did finally go away. It's tough writing/testing a web app and trying to plan for all the browser weirdness. Good job, Live Planet, for keeping it going. |
JohnnyV | Hey TS, I have already reviewed two scripts but I have not been able to get access to my own script to do a personal review on it. Does this mean I am out of the running? I hope not, since I never got a link or email asking me to do a personal review. I've only learned about this through reading other posts on the message board. If there is something else I need to do please let me know.

saintsteven7 | My first review was submitted with no problems. I am getting ODBC error when I finish page 3 for my second mandatory review for "The 12-Minute Penelope Show". I tried it three times. Everytime I go back, it saves all the character info I put in, but everything from log line down on page 3 is erased. Error Message states: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e57' [Microsoft] ODBC SQL Server Driver [SQL Server] String or binary data would be truncated/coverage/save Answer_page3.asp.line 182 |
Randanista | I submitted my first review last week, and received the error message others have referred to. I made the mistake of hitting "finish" a second time. now it says i've reveiwed 2 films, although I have only read one (other than the self-review). Now, I've not been assigned a new script in 3 days. The clock is ticking and I don't have a chance to review a script. Please help. Cheers, |
prager | I'm having trouble with the review. After completing Page 2, it says, "You haven't rated the Drama category." On Page 4, it says, "You haven't entered True-False." What to do? |

Hi! I'm not Tech Support, but I encountered the same error on a different form. It seems that some text input fields allow us to enter more characters than whatever reads the data will accept. And, of course, we don't know what the limit is. It looks like "line 182" is where it fails. Try entering the same text, but shorten it by one line. If the new error message reads "line 181" you know you've found the glitch. Now... What to do? Maybe try entering an abbreviated form of the text and see if it'll accept it. I've had the question out there for Tech Support, but they must be busy elsewhere. Good luck! HI |
saintsteven7 | I am having the same problem with my third mandatory review as I had with my second. It is the same exact error message as I posted previously. Seeing that after the posting and an e-mail to tech support, the problem was fixed for my second mandatory, so I don't know if it's less text like "lumiere" suggests. I can't really say if what I submitted on my last attempt was any shorter than previous attempts. Anyway, if tech support can look into this, I would be greatly appreciative as I am of "lumiere" for helping out with his suggestion. Thanks everybody. |
scribe | This is EXACTLY what happened to me, too. However, ever since, I've been unable to access any scripts. quote: Originally posted by Enigmagirl: I also received the "parameter error" message, but no notice stating I had to resubmit the review. 4921xerxes | Tech Support - can you offer any help? Everytime I've tried emailing you, I get an error. So here it is. I uploaded my script and verified it was complete. But noone, including myself can seem to find my script "No Exit Sign". I thought I had to perform a self review but that option stopped showing up on my home page. I've performed the mandatory reviews but where is my script? Any help would be appreciated. |
gilbo | TECH SUPPORT - I tried my best, now what do I do? Due to Adobe website errors, Greenlight was generous enough to give me a second opportunity to submit the screenplay PRODIGAL, which I did. However, when I submitted my self review, I was kicked offline and all info was erased from the review form. This happened THREE TIMES! I also encountered multiple problems while entering text into the form. The cursor kept jumping to the beginning of the text in the paragraph description, not allowing me to finish. After many hours spent in vain losing info and retyping, I tried to enter a hurried version of my self review before the deadline. Therefore, I need to know: 1) did you receive my review unbeknownst to me and 2)if not, may I still attempt to submit my review and be a part of the contest? How can I submit the review form without losing the info? |

Hi, Try calling Live Planet at 310-786-2845. If they are unable to help ask them to forward the issue to Tech Support. I tried looking for your script and I couldn't find it either. Best of luck. |
Elizabeth | I get bombarded with multiple java script error messages, resulting in the fact that I'm stuck on review page 2, and can't go back, or move forward. The messages appear collectively in the bottom ribbon menu bar of the screen, so I dutifully open them and click "ok." But, I get a message saying I haven't clicked on the radio buttons to rate the drama and romance factors. That's when my page freezes. I've tried doing the review from scratch, from page 2 that is, but nada. |
