I got a nice response from the Cocoon folks. I didn't try the Altar Girl. I prefer people who list their credentials.

I sent a query to Alter Girl and got nothing back. I know a guy who sent a screenplay to Cocoon, and got no response. It makes you wonder if these are real companies.

Quetee,

Cocoon films contacted me through PGL about a month ago and expressed interest in optioning my script. I checked them out and they are a legitimate company and seemed very nice and professional when I spoke to them.

They did offer to option my script (Plush, Virginia), but the offer was not something I felt was in my best interest right now.

So they are for real. Frankly, I'm surprised that more production companies haven't used PGL as a resource.

Hi Mp,
how are you. Well atleast you know some people like your script, i guess you have to get it in the hands of the right people.

Too bad Cocoon's offer higher.... would be nice to know others are having good things happen to them.

I agree with you. There should be some sort of industry type of functions here..... now that i think about it im gonna email kit.

I had someone offer to option my script once before PGL. Offered me a dollar. I turned her down.
