How TechEmpower brought it to life:
We designed a series of sophisticated Web-based product-training courses to help Digital Insight get its client financial institutions online. Our proprietary simulation engine allows financial institution administrators and their end-user customers to work through realistic on-screen exercises simulating the use of Internet banking software. We also built a tracking system that Digital Insight can use to ensure that bank staffers are ready to launch their products, a feature that's critical to the success of installs at client sites.
The technology:
We built the system upon our proprietary Gemini infrastructure-a Java-servlet- and JSP-based Web-based application that runs on Windows NT, using SQL Server 2000 as its database backend. The courses themselves were delivered as HTML and JavaScript so that they could be available with the fewest technical restrictions.
The results:
Thanks to this online system, Digital Insight is training new financial institution clients faster and less expensively than before. Easy periodic updates mean that clients can be trained on new products as Digital Insight's offerings evolve.
