5. Your "industry standard format" definition differs from some others I've seen. Will my screenplay be disqualified if I used another "industry standard," e.g., if the margins are set according to WGA standards (3 inches) instead of your industry standard margins (2.5 inches)?

The Official Rules require Submissions to be in "industry standard" screenplay format. Nevertheless, "industry standard" format itself allows for some minor deviation (e.g., there is some flexibility with regard to margin width). While we do require Submissions to be in industry standard screenplay format -- written as a screenplay, within the appropriate range of margins, characters identified appropriately, and so on -- Greenlight may deem it appropriate to disregard certain MINOR format deviations that may have been caused by, for example, the Adobe® PDF conversion process, or minor differences between accepted industry standard formats.
