The Official Rules say that my name shouldn't be on my screenplay,
but I accidentally left my name on or in my screenplay. Will I be
disqualified? If I review a screenplay with a name on it, should
I give it a lower rating because of that?
A
number of Greenlight Contestants may have inadvertently placed their
name(s) or other personally identifiable information on or in their
respective screenplays. Although the Official Rules permit us to
subject such screenplays to disqualification, Greenlight has decided
not to disqualify any screenplay submitted by a Contestant or Team
that fails to meet the Submission Requirements as set forth in the
Official Rules, where such failure was solely because of the placement
of a Contestant's name(s) or other personally identifying information
on or in the screenplay submitted. In light of this, there is no
need for any review to give a lower rating to a screenplay with
a name on it, solely because of the presence of such name.
