Bored i spose...but i noticed that as a collective, we are seeking males, females, housing, rule changes, a shoulder to cry on, an a** to chew on, a free ride, a border war, spelling help( that's me), and i even noticed a question about hammer toe. As for me, i am gonna give this little contest a shot. I have a great job and make too much money already, so if this works out...i'm buying the drinks. And if it don't...i'm gonna get in my limousine, go to LAX, get on my private jet and head right back to South Beach...Good Luck kiddies. IP: Logged

But I have dreamt of this almost my entire life...an opportunity to see imagination come to life. My mom has had cancer and still has a great risk of cancer (of one type, thank god)I've almost lost her, on more than one occation. So, trust me when I say "I'm sorry for your loss." But don't worry, my day is coming. You came on here and you spouted about money and how much winning doesn't matter to you. Well a lot of us don't care for money and winning means everything to us. So, you can see why I made the first post about alienation. The next post was a mistake of mine, I now realize. I shouldn't have responded to your "attack." I left for a long time, even though the board had a lot to offer writers on the brink of making it. Now I'm back there and I can't even remember what was said that hurt my feelings so badly. There is no offense where none is taken, so even if someone is trying to be offensive, without a victim they are just rude. Not offensive. I see people come in all the time and plop down money because they have this stupid notion that they are better than most people and that they deserve to win, even though most people loose. It has taught me something that you can pick up reading Ecclesiastes: It don't mean shit. You ain't shit. You live, you die, and nothing you do amounts to shit. If you are so fucking full of yourself that you think the world is gonna be better off if YOUR script gets to be a movie then you need to have your head checked. What are you hoping for, to get big and famous, screen hopeful wanna-be actresses on a casting couch, maybe party down with Bet Middler and Kevin Smith? Do you think getting your movie made is going to change your life and make your existance seem worthwhile? You are a nothing. I am a nothing. We are as significant as dust blowing in the wind. And even if you get rich and famous and are celebrated as the greatest writer since William Shakespear, you'll still be nothing. So enjoy yourselves and quit attaching such a high value to "making it." This contest is gambling, after all. If you can't stand to loose, get out of the game. IP: Logged

If having your screenplay made into film (dare I say, turned into reality) isn't your dream and is not a goal because it there simply because it's there (which is what you are saying) then you should not bother being in this contest.
