What are the chances of Getting Matt and Ben in the movie as supporting actors. I started writing my script before i ever heard of this contest, but when it came up i thought about it and realized the two buddies would fit perfectly in the two supporting roles. But if we could get them in the film what chunk of that 1 million will go to signing them????? A million isn't all that much if you think Good will hunting had 2, although it did bring in Robin Williams (don't know what he got) and the famous swede (at least in sweden) Stellan Skarsgård. The Greenlight FAQ specifically states that M & B will "probably not" appear in the Greenlight film. Of course, the FAQ also points out that they han't picked the winner yet ... if the winning script includes a perfect role for them, who knows? Elsewhere in the Casting forum, I was amused at how many people included M & B in their "dream casts", as if that would increase their odds of winning! (Part of my amusement is that I had Matt Damon in my mind's eye for one of my roles long before Greenlight was ever heard of).
