when people say industry standard they usually mean 90-120 pages. i bet you could get away with 80 pages or something, but less than that pisses people off for some reason. IP: Logged |

Not to bum you out, but the official rules state the competing screenplays must be between 90 - 130 pages in length. It is my understanding if you submit a screenplay that is less or more then the required pages, you will be disqualified. I'd check into it further for your best interests. Nowhere is it stated when the submission will be disqualified, so the script might go on to the review stage and you could possibly get a few reviews out of it. the truth is i really dont care if i win or not i cant even write screenplays i just like writing and it would make a kickass movie this is just to get someones opinion out of this in the future i hope to write a correct version...but i cant commit to this because im not that hot to making money ( im set in my job) and hollywood fame doesnt really float my boat...do you think i will be disqualified for doing what i like (writing) and interacting with other talented writers?
