Well I certainly hope you do. I'd like you to give me your honest thoughts on my screenplay... I lived this alternative underworld scene long enough - I hope it appeals to others as well...

Wasn't American Gothic a cancelled television series a while back? Probably not a great strategy to share the title?

Gotta agree with you, Sneetch. Shared titles make for a tough sell, and nobody needs an extra strike against them in this business.

You're both right. I should have gone with my original title... "The Downward Spiral". And yes, it was in honor of a friend of mine - Trent Reznor of NINE INCH NAILS.

No need to apologize for promoting your script. It irritates some people, and they are not bad people, while others don't care at all. Still others are actively promoting their own, a friend's, and simply those they have read and liked.

Good Luck!

Thanks... I just want the feedback. Enough with my friends already - I'd like to hear from some other writers...

Your friends might actually give you better
feedback than anybody at this site. Hand your screenplay to one of them -- preferably one who likes to read -- and see at what point they lay it down and make excuses for
not finishing it then and there. If they read it all the way through without stopping then you may have a winner-- or one true friend.

I gotta admit, man...Good way to draw attention to yourself. It got me interested. I promise to review impartially. We're all in this together, and I've got a BA in English/Imaginative Writing with a healthy portfolio...I won't sell you any shit.

Thanks - I appreciate it. It's hard to track all of the feedback on the various strings. So far I have been very pleased. A lot of "goods" and "very goods" and one "it sucked". But, I even appreciate the "it sucked". As long as they really read it and honestly reviewed it.
