upatree | Help... cant seem to open the script after I download it. I double click it and all that comes up is my Front Page Express and a bunch of code... Nevermind, all taken care of, thanks. [This message has been edited by upatree (edited 10-01-2000).] |

You need the Adobe Acrobat reader. The files have all been converted to the PDF format, which is only read by the Acrobat reader.

gary_morris | Here's the link to Adobe Acrobat Reader. You'll need to download this to read scripts here for review: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html [This message has been edited by gary_morris (edited 10-01-2000).] |

Well, I've GOT Reader, and I use it all the time, and PG still attempts to download read_script.asp and open it in an HTML editor. I've tried both the saving file to disk and opening from current location options and I can't get any .pdf! Anyone else? [This message has been edited by shaxpir (edited 10-02-2000).] |
DimitriL | That's very odd - you should NOT be getting the .asp file. The .asp file is a Microsoft DB file that actually delivers the .pdf files - it's like a shell that tells which screenplay to serve up. Icky ooky. Hopefully it'll get tweaked soon by someone at Greenlight. Hunkering in the bunker, Dimitri |
unckra | One of my team members also tried to download a script and just got a blank black page with the .asp page in the URL bar. He thought it might be network congestion, but he's tried several times since then. Sounds like the same problem as some others I've read. |
stephanieg | yeah thats the same thing that mine is doing. I just get a blank page when I call up the script. any help would be oh so greatly appriciated. |
mustpar65 | scarlett Yeah, you have to convert to PDF to upload. My script was done on MS word and it converted perfectly on the first try. If you use the courier font, 12pt there shouldn't be any problem. [This message has been edited by mustpar65 (edited 10-02-2000).] |
