Greenlight 101: A look at how our website works
As Project Greenlight unfolds every week on HBO, the viewer will get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the filmmaking proces. Sometimes comical, often tragic, Project Greenlight will be a raw examination of one person's journey to carry out their creative vision against all odds.
You will be introduced to real characters with complex jobs and challenging obstacles.
Every week, Project Greenlight, the web site, will begin where HBO ends. It will be a platform for anyone to be heard, no matter what his or her opinion. The site strives to be informative, sometimes irreverent, and always honest about what you see on television, and sometimes what you do not see. You will have access to all the tools, scripts, and correspondence that are featured on the show.
Once you visit www.projectgreenlight.com, go to the Productions section for the latest on the HBO series.
Bylines
Bylines is a forum for characters in the show to sound off about anything and everything on their minds. Every week, Bylines will feature at least one guest columnist. Over the course of the next few months, everyone, from the casting director and line producer, to executives, production assistants, and sound operators will speak their minds and offer insight into their role in the production.
Each and every week, we will hear from the Executive Producer of the television show and Producer of the movie, Chris Moore, and the chosen director. Both will weigh in with their comments and concerns on a weekly basis.
Articles
Articles will extend the storyline from what you see on television. In this section, we will profile characters, examine the nuances of filmmaking, and hopefully hone in on what is interesting to you, the Project Greenlight community.
Every week, we will have a featured article, which pinpoints the epicenter of that week's episode.
Snapshots
View pictures taken on the set or behind the scenes.
Featured Bios
As the weeks progress, you will be introduced to a variety of characters on the show. We intend to properly introduce you to all of them.
Paper Trail
This will give you the opportunity to read actual documents circulated during production: Memos, correspondence, emails, script notes, etc.
Video
Each week we will feature video clips of unseen footage or bonus material.
Audio
Listen to memorable quotes, unedited conversations, and never heard before phone conversations.
Glossary
Learn Hollywood-speak. Movie jargon is its own language, and we hope to awaken you to a whole new world over the next few months.
What's Going On
Every week, projectgreenlight.com will breakdown what happened in the current episode, and what you can expect from the upcoming episode.
Chat and Message Boards
Of course, none of this stuff matters without you, the Project Greenlight Community, offering your opinions and observations of what is taking place.
Make the most of chat and message boards to connect with other community members. Remember, Project Greenlight is about words and expression and creativity. Anything goes, and we encourage you to find your own voice.
Episodometer
If you want to get caught up on past episodes or any of the original content around them, just "select an episode" at the bottom of the Television page. All original content, as it appeared on the site during that episode, is still here for you to enjoy.

Just another way to sort through our array of original content. Our "Archive" sorts all past content by episode summary, bylines, articles, bios, audio, video, snapshots, paper trail, and glossary. We've got it all covered.
