What attracted you to the Entertainment Industry, and what was your first job or big break in the business?
Irregular hours, long days and inconsistent income.
What is the biggest challenge you faced trying to break into the industry, and how did you overcome it?
There is no clear cut path into any area of this business. Just remember your goal and keep moving towards it. Stay focused.
What advice can you give those trying to break into the "industry?"
Be cool, stay in school (stick with it and you'll get there).
Please describe your job for those who might not know what a Film Loader is.
I'm responsible for keeping camera magazines loaded with film. I maintain film inventory and order film when needed. I also keep track of all camera logs and daily inventory sheets. I assist the 2nd and 1st AC on set and wash D.P.'s car
Can you share any tricks of the trade that help you work faster/cheaper/better?
Anticipation.

If I screw up loading, the footage will not even make it into the film.
