Well folks, my name is Chris Moore and I will be writing columns in the Project Greenlight Productions section from now until the release of the movie on March 1st, 2002. I am a movie producer, an Executive Producer of the Project Greenlight TV Show, a Producer on "Stolen Summer," and one of the editors of this site. I am also a character in the TV show. So bring it on. I expect and hope for dialogue on this site, it is meant to be a discussion not a diary.
And yes you cynical bastards - Project Greenlight is a business, but you guys all have to realize that great projects are hard. They need people who believe in ideas and potential - not proven commodities. Miramax Films & TV, HBO and Sam Adams really believe in Project Greenlight and have been awesome. So stop laughing and thinking what an ass-kisser this guy is and grow up and hope someday when you really want to do something crazy like Project Greenlight you find partners like mine.
So I ask you to go out right now and see SERENDIPITY in the theater, stop by the liquor store on your way back and buy a 12 pack of Sam Adams and sit down and start watching "THE SOPRANOS" on HBO.
